waffles

on boing boing cory doctorow writes about bush supporters “googlebombing” kerry’s site with the word “waffles” (as in “kerry waffles on issues,” get it?). doctorow says that this is pretty dumb because, among other reasons, “who googles the word ‘waffles?’”

actually, i did that very thing last week (more research for my saved by the bell script) and was kind of confused when a bunch of political sites popped up. but it led me to something woderful: an article about john kerry pretending to be irish. hot!

i wrote an article on waffles. just a few months ago. mine’s about actual waffles, though, not about political stuff. i guess no one really cares about real waffles anymore…

    I LOVE WAFFLES!

interestingly enough, someone found this page by searching for “waffles” on google. i guess the question is, who googles “waffles” and goes through 26 pages of results?

i wonder if my waffles page shows up in google. maybe i’ll look through 26 pages of search results [or more!] to find out.
