the rice that time forgot

a couple of years ago my roommate ben and i bought a rice cooker and got a lot of use out of it. lately we haven’t done much cooking, but a while ago (i think over a month), i actually fired that bad boy up and cooked some rice.
i guess i must have forgotten about the rice cooker as more garbage piled up on top of it. i didn’t even know this could happen to rice.

oh god. my roommate has a rice cooker she used once. i wonder what’s in it now… 3 years later. i shudder to think of the possibilities.
