joey June 22nd, 2004 in moviesi knew that bill muray was originally supposed to play billy bob thornton’s part, but according to imdb, jack nicholson wanted to do the film but had other obligations (that slightly less dark movie where old people have sex). but the real interesting tidbit is that larry david was considered for the part. i’m not sure if that would have worked, but if it did, it would have been awesome.
