i’m posting this from a creepy russian internet cafe in coney island. it’s burning hot and the air is filled with russian b.o. from the two brothers (i’m assuming) who run the place. the fat brother is staring at me while whispering russian into a telephone. the skinny brother sits on a stool with his eyes closed. this shitty 1994 computer is probably stealing all my passwords and the keyboard is covered with cyrillic characters. but the worst part is that every computer station comes equipped with a curtain that can be extended for privacy while you use the internet. pretty gross, huh? so i checked the history in the browser and guess what? it was filled with creepy russian porn sites. but curiously enough, someone had also been visiting bride.ru. are russian guys into russian mail order brides? i wouldn’t think that the novelty would appeal to them. but i guess everyone wants to be loved.
