i know you guys needed us here at bloop to say something about the election, so i’m posting this letter that i’ve written and tucked safely into an envelope and sealed and put my name on and addressed and stamped and lugged all the way down to the post office to send to george w. bush himself
(will he ever receive it? what a cliffhanger!):

dear george w. bush,
here’s to four more years of laughs! you know, i didn’t fully appreciate you until i saw you in those debates, (insert political humor). you’re funny—you’re a funny guy. (insert political humor). no matter what happens, at least we know that the next four years will be full of comicality and the warmth that comes from a good laugh among friends.
