thanksgiving’s a pretty tricky holiday. here are some things that have ruined the festivities for me in the past (well, last year… but whatever… i’m over it):

forgetting to defrost the turkey

no one made stuffing?

anything involving re-enactments

high jinks and shenanigans!

accidentally saying the word “indian” in front of your cherokee brother-in-law, ahote—“injun” is even worse

making [...]

finally, an editor read one of my letters to him (or her!).

this one was rushed, so there may be some mistakes.

to help get my acting career off the ground, someone i made up recommended that i post my headshot/resume online. well, love me or hate me, you KNOW i do an amazing “streetcar.”

throw up a lot (7:30am-12:30pm)

almost get hit by a train, arroyo pkwy and del mar (5:30pm)

watch kobe brick a possible game-winning three-pointer, tie game (2 seconds left on the clock)
